Hachioji CampusCheerleading Club Wins the 26th Kanto Championship

At the 26th Kanto Cheerleading Championships held at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 1 (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) from Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23, 2024, Teikyo University Cheerleading Club BUFFALOS won the Division 1 University Division of the Free Performance Competition. 27 teams participated in this division, and BUFFALOS, who had a disappointing result of coming in second place at the same tournament last year, performed with a relaxed expression, and the entire venue was very excited with loud cheers and applause, and they returned to victory with a high score of 282.5 points with a wonderful and flawless performance.

After the tournament, captain Anzu Sekigawa (3rd year Faculty of Medical Technology) said, "I'm very happy that we were able to perform the performance and get the best result of winning. Since we became a new team, we have valued "teamwork" and have had good teamwork since practice. We were able to complete our performance early on and perform a performance that we were satisfied with. Our main goal is to win the JAPAN CUP, so we will use the regretful mistakes we made in last year's final as motivation to improve our level even more than today and perform our own performance at the JAPAN CUP." In addition, members of the hardball baseball club came to the venue to support the team, and it was very impressive to see them cheering on BUFFALOS, who supported us in the league games and university championships. We hope you will continue to support the Teikyo University Cheerleading Club BUFFALOS.
