Kasumigaseki CampusProfessor Sugimoto will appear on NHK General TV's "100 Years of Broadcasting! Future Visual Lab"

Professor Maki Sugimoto of the Innovation Lab Okinaga Research Institute of Teikyo University will appear on NHK General TV's "Experience Over 100 Years of Broadcasting! Future Video Lab," which will be broadcast on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
The program will introduce futuristic experiences that utilize cutting-edge technology, including immersive technology that makes viewers feel as if they've been transported into a visual world, in connection with NHK's "Ultra Experience! Future Visual Lab" project, which is being held as part of its 100th anniversary of broadcasting. The program will also showcase surgical support using "Holoeyes MD," an immersive technology developed as a medical device by Holoeyes Inc., a certified venture company spun off from Teikyo University. Be sure to also check out the world's first spatial computing surgical support using Apple Vision Pro, which is the result of research conducted in collaboration with the institute's Innovation Lab.
