Itabashi CampusStudents from Faculty of Medical Technology win prizes at the 11th All Japan Trampoline Age Championships

On Saturday, May 11, 2024, Hidema Toyoda (3rd year Faculty of Medical Technology) participated in the 11th All Japan Trampoline Age Championships held at Yamato Civic Gymnasium (Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture) and won 5th place.

Toyoda has been involved in trampolining since he was a child, and continued the sport even after enrolling in Emergency Medical Technician Course at the Department of Sport and Medical Science. This time, he participated in the open category (men), which also served as the final selection tournament to decide Japan's representative for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and achieved the brilliant result of placing 5th in the competition. Toyoda said with great enthusiasm, "Although I unfortunately missed out on being selected as Japan's representative for the Paris Olympics, I would like to continue practicing hard in preparation for the Los Angeles Games to be held in 2028." We look forward to Toyoda's future and hope you will continue to support him.
