The 8th Teikyo University Research Exchange Symposium was held atItabashi Campus

The 8th Teikyo University Research Exchange Symposium was held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus. This symposium has been held annually since 2018 as a forum for faculty and staff to share information and exchange on the latest research activities across campuses and disciplines. Following on from last year, this was the 8th time the symposium was held, and it was held in a hybrid format across all campuses, with panel discussions on-demand and poster sessions on-site.

The panel discussion was moderated by Makoto Asashima, Director of Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization and Special Appointment Professor, Chairman, President, Yoshihito Okinaga, Shunichi Amari, Special Appointment Professor, Vice President of the University Hospital School of Medicine, Professor, Takeo Fukagawa, Faculty of Economics, Associate Professor, Kazuteru Yamaya, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Professor, Miwa Fukino, Faculty Associate Professor, and Yoshiko Sato, Faculty , as panelists, and the panelists discussed how AI is used in education, research and medical care. The panelists introduced AI initiatives at various campuses and medical facilities, and discussed how AI will be utilized in the future.
The poster session was attended by approximately 700 people, mainly faculty members of the University, and a record number of 398 posters were exhibited. It was a meaningful occasion for a lively exchange of opinions, filled with enthusiasm that did not let the severe lingering summer heat get the better of them.
The event ended on a high note with closing remarks from the Executive Director and Deputy Director of President Hiroko Okinaga.

At this research exchange symposium, various researchers presented their research results. It is hoped that through these presentations and exchanges, new cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborative research projects will be created that transcend the boundaries of fields.
In order to fulfill one of its responsibilities, Teikyo University will continue to cultivate various knowledge through research within the university and promote initiatives that can give back to society.
