On Thursday, September 25, Friday, September 26, and Monday, September 29, 2025, Mr. Antonio de los Reyes President and Mr. Ramiro Velazquez, Vice President of the Aguascalientes Campus of Panamerican University (Mexico), Teikyo University's partner university, visited our Hachioji, Utsunomiya and Itabashi campuses.
On Thursday, September 25, at Hachioji Campus, they participated in the Spanish Course class taught by Yuichi Chishiro of Faculty of Languages and Cultures Department of Foreign Languages Associate Professor. During the class, students exchanged opinions with him. In addition to reintroducing the exchange program, Mr. de los Reyes President said, "I hope many students will experience learning in Mexico. The students then toured the campus facilities. Vice President Velasquez reflected on the history of cooperation between the two universities, saying, "It has been 10 years since the cooperation between Panamerican University and Teikyo University began, and it is very moving to be here again. He also met with Faculty of Languages and Cultures Director Hirata Yoshi at Center for Japanese language Education and exchanged views on future exchanges.
Itabashi Campus On September 26 (Fri.), he met with faculty members including Dr. Masayuki Arai, Director of Faculty of Science and Engineering at Utsunomiya Campus, and on the last day, September 29 (Mon.), he met with Dr. Yoshinori Nakata at Chairman ? President Yoshihito Okinaga, Dr. Graduate School Graduate School of Public Health Professor, Dr. Yoshinori Nakata at Professor Mariko Inoue at Assistant Professor Takuya Yamada at School of Medicine and Dr. Takashi Asayama at Professor, Department of Public Hygiene and Sanitation, Tohoku University.
Okinaga Chairman The President had visited the Panamerican University Aguascalientes campus in 2015 and was invited by de los Reyes President to the inauguration of the Panamerican University hospital, which is scheduled to open in Mexico City in 2027. Okinaga Chairman The "I was very impressed during my last visit to the Aguascalientes campus and I look forward to visiting again," said Dr. de los Reyes.

The relationship between the two universities began with a double degree program for Mexican Graduate School students in science and engineering. The program was temporarily suspended after 2020 due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, but through this meeting, we confirmed that we will work to resume and strengthen the program. The visit was also an opportunity to reaffirm the cooperative relationship that has been established and to exchange views for further development in the future.
Panamerican University The two countries will create new opportunities for exchange in the areas of research, education, and human resource exchange, and will further deepen their long-term, strategic cooperative relationship.
