At the 2025 World Junior Judo Championships held in Lima, Peru from Sunday, October 5th to Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, Sachiyo Yoshino (2nd year, Faculty of Medical Technology) won the women's 48kg class, and Hikaru Yamaguchi (3rd year, Faculty of Medical Technology) also won the mixed team competition.
Yoshino won all of his matches except for the semi-finals by ippon, and Yamaguchi won all of the matches he participated in in the team competition, making both athletes a major contributor to the success of the Japanese team. We hope you will continue to support the Judo Club.
