Hachioji CampusStudents from Faculty of Education Department of Elementary Education Preschool Education Course visited Teikyo University Kindergarten

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, students from Faculty of Education Department of Elementary Education Teikyo University, Preschool Education Course, visited Teikyo University Kindergarten which is located on the same grounds as Hachioji Campus, as part of their first-year education subject, Life Design Seminar I.
During this visit, the students received guidance from the teachers of Teikyo University Kindergarten on the outline of the kindergarten, its educational policy, and the behavior of the children as a preparatory study, and then deepened their interactions with the children. The students enjoyed playing in the sand, running, playing with the playground equipment, and searching for pillbugs with the energetic children in the kindergarten yard, and gained various realizations through their interactions with the children, which helped them to imagine themselves as childcare workers.
